.458 WIN LOTT BOLT ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 458 Win. Lott. S# 33407. Bbl. 23 1/16". Model 70 bolt action rifle originally mfg. by Winchester in 1955 and later professionally customized by Frank Wells of Arizona. The top of the tapered rnd. Douglas bbl. is engraved "Frank/ Wells AZ", with "458 Win-Lott." engraved on the left towards the breech, both in script characters. Receiver exhibits standard factory markings. Metal components exhibit a dull blue finish overall, save for on the bolt body, which is polished in-the-white. Bedded 1-piece high grade custom wood stock features an ebony forend tip, a single wrap around checkered panel at the forearm, checkered panels at the wrist, a blued steel trapdoor grip cap (containing assorted color front sight fiber optics), left hand cheekpiece, a black synthetic spacer, as well as a black synthetic and rubber Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. Toeline of stock features a sling swivel stud, with the an integral banded stud present on the bbl. Bolt knob features 4 knurled tear drop shaped panels around its circumference. Threaded radial ported muzzle brake with banded, ramped, and hooded green fiber optic blade front sight. Rear of bbl. is fitted with a 5 15/16" picatinny rail, featuring 3-folding leafs, graduated "100", "200", and "200" yards. Receiver is drilled and tapped with 2-piece EAW pivot mounts, featuring a Nikon ProStaff (PR31) 2-x7x32mm scope. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: unmarked generic cardboard box containing styrofoam insert. CONDITION: fine, with metal components retaining virtually all of their professionally applied dull blue finish overall, save for a few light superficial handling marks and spots of light edge wear overall. Front trigger guard screws exhibits some wear and thinning fading to gray patina on its head. Mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics.
